About Fairfield Flowers

If you’ve been here since the beginning, you know…
Believe it or not – Fairfield Flowers began with Heidi selling flowers on the local 24-hour Bidding Site!
She grew her Saturday clientele by auctioning off fresh flower bouquets to the highest virtual bidder, and having people pop money under her front door mat in exchange for their winnings.

Then, Covid hit, and people were increasingly looking for ways to share kindness and joy with loved ones and strangers alike.
Heidi began taking orders for custom bouquets.

But the item that really brought her flowers to the market – was the (now famous) $10 grab and go bouquet.  The $10 bouquet was affordable and an easy way to spread a bit of brightness in what felt like a dark time for many.

Our Story

From tulip fields in the Netherlands to Canadian farms, my roots run deep in the flower industry.

Growing up, I tagged along with my dad, a customs worker, as we handpicked tulips.

Our move to Canada at 14 years of age didn’t change all that much – tulips remained our passion, and I continued to work hard on the family farm until I became a stay-at-home mom at age 27.

When I first began, I approached my local growers to ask if I could buy flowers from them to make my bouquets.

I was thrilled when I received an ecstatic, “Yes!”

Fresh bouquets, made locally, sourced locally, ENJOYED locally!
